Emmvee, together with Germany’s RadClub is about to stage a tour with e-bikes, from the very north to the south of Germany.

The manufacturer of PV modules wants to demonstrate that electro-mobility is a real alternative when it comes to transportation. Several teams and individual riders will go all the way. There will be long stretches and seriously hilly parts before the tour hits Garmisch-Partenkirchen, one of Germany’s southernmost cities.

The e-bikes will be supplied by one of Germany’s most prestigious manufacturers, there will be some activities to show how good these bikes fit into daily life. “The tour d’e-bike is not a race. It is a demonstration what electro-mobility can do and how it can support and actually help us in our daily ways,” explains Frank Hilgenfeld, spokesman of Emmvee Photovoltaics GmbH in Berlin.

The tour d’e-bike team will be at this week’s Fahrrad Essen, a trade fair concerning bicycles and camping. Pop around to speak with them. Their booth is together with the RadClub Germany. Applications are open. Emmvee’s communication department is happy to answer all questions.
