Fire Energy signs MoU with an Indonesian company to develop 10 MW solar projects

According to the MoU, the two parties will develop solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 10MW in Indonesia. Imron Cotan, Indonesian Ambassador to China, attended the signing ceremony.

The signing of MoU marks another step taken by Fire Energy Group in the development of solar power plants.

Indonesia, with rich solar resource, is accelerating the pace of solar development and utilization, and will raise $683 million within three years to build new solar power plants with a total power output of up to 180,000 kilowatts.

Moreover, PLN ?State Electricity Company? plans to build solar power plants on 1000 islands within 5 years. The construction will be conducted in two stages. The first stage (2011-2012): to build solar power plants on 100 islands. The second stage (2013-2015): try to build solar power systems on 900 islands.
