The test reports issued by the Kacst laboratory in Riyad, recently accredited by Accredia, have shown the perfect operation of FuturaSun modules even under the harshest conditions.

The excellent results achieved in terms of thermal coefficients are particularly relevant. In particular, for the polycrystalline silicon modules, the coefficient measured was -0.36%. This ensures Futura modules produce a higher yield at high temperatures compared to the competition.

The Desert Dust Test consists of abrading glass by blowing sand of different particle sizes for several hours at a speed ranging between 20 and 30 m/s.

This test simulates the effect of a sand storm, which occur periodically in desert areas. Areas where there will be considerable installations in the near future. The Government of Saudi Arabia alone is planning to install 54 GW by 2032.

The modules manufactured at the FuturaSun Technology plant – currently under expansion – will have power peaks up to 290 Wp for the 60 cell module and 345 Wp for the 72 cell module.

With this latest recognition, FuturaSun has enriched its already impressive list of certifications, proving the excellence of Italian design in the photovoltaic industry.
