At the eighth edition of the Renewable Energy India 2014 trade show (3 – 5 September) that will take place at the India Expo Centre, in Greater Noida, Ingeteam is to showcase its innovative 1 MW central inverter.

This new INGECONÒ SUN Power Max model provides a maximum AC power output of 1,070 kW up to an ambient temperature of 45 ºC, with a maximum efficiency of 99.1%. Since it was first launched on the market, this model has been extremely popular all over the world. This is supported by the fact that it is currently being installed in five different continents at the same time.

Together with this central inverter, Ingeteam will also exhibit its latest string box, the INGECONÒ SUN String Control, which can support an input of up to 20 A per string.

Visitors to the 42 m2 stand will also be able to get a closer look at the small single-phase and three-phase inverter range, the INGECON® SUN 1Play and 3Play. The INGECON® SUN 1Play single-phase inverters (2.5 – 6 kW) feature two MPPT inputs and a 98.4% maximum efficiency.

They present SiC components and they are compatible with 30 mA RCDs. On the other hand, the three-phase transformerless inverter series, under the INGECON® SUN 3Play brand, achieves up to a 98.5% maximum efficiency level and it comprises two versions: with one or two MPPTs. Both, the single- and three-phase inverter series, feature an SD memory card input to easily update the inverter firmware.

Finally, visitors to the 8th edition of the Renewable Energy India 2014 fair will also be able to get a closer look at Ingeteam's latest development for off-grid systems. The INGECON® HYBRID AC Power Link (60 – 250 kW), featuring a galvanic isolation transformer, this new three-phase inverter has been conceived to be the core of the off-grid application managing the energy storage system, but it can also work as a grid-tied inverter.

This equipment generates an AC network and operates as a grid manager, controlling the energy flow between the AC grid and the batteries. Furthermore, it permits the connection of a back-up generator or the grid, allowing choosing between three different operating modes depending on the situation or the desired plant configuration (stand-alone mode, back-up mode, self-consumption mode).

The INGECON® HYBRID AC Link (2.4 – 6 kW) single-phase inverter is able to generate a stand-alone AC network and act as the grid manager, guaranteeing the correct balance between generation, consumption and storage. This power converter features a DC input for the batteries and a DC input for the PV field. Additionally, this hybrid model also features an auxiliary AC input to connect a diesel generator or the public grid, if necessary.

Visitors are welcome to approach Ingeteam’s stand #3.5 (Hall 3).

To date, Ingeteam has supplied more than 3.5 GW to its customers, confirming its position as one of the world's leading inverter manufacturers.
