Johanna Solar Technology changes its name
31. August 2010 | By: Bosch Solar Energy AGBrandenburg-based Johanna Solar Technology GmbH, located in Germany will now be known as Bosch Solar CISTech GmbH.
The company will change its corporate design accordingly when the new name is entered into the Commercial Registry on September 1. Integration into the Bosch Group’s Solar Energy Division will thus be largely complete. Starting September, the company will be added to the internet presence at www.bosch-solarenergy.com
The Bosch Group entered the photovoltaics industry in 2008, when it acquired the Erfurt-based ersol group, now known as Bosch Solar Energy AG. It further expanded its photovoltaics operations a year later, after securing majority stakes in Johanna Solar Technology GmbH and aleo solar AG, based in Oldenburg and Prenzlau.
