NavSemi Energy: Converting inverters into solar inverters

NavSemi Energy has unveiled their New Product Series of Solar Management Units (SMU), which will convert any conventional Inverter to Solar Inverter. With SMU Product Series NavSemi is targeting large customer base of existing installed home UPS & Inverters to convert them to Solar Inverter.

NavSemi is working closely with ArrayTech Technologies, a Bangalore based leading solar systems company, as a lead customer for the SMU. ArrayTech has evaluated the product and is very excited to be part of this revolutionary product idea, said it CEO, Mr. Ratnadip Battacharjee. The SMU series products are available in various models starting with 300Wp to 6KWp solar panel input arrays and battery voltage ranging from 12V to 120V. NavSemi’s SMUs are built on highly scalable architecture and includes option of data logging. The product can be customized for many other applications beyond the inverter. It is also a self-sufficient solar DC power system which can be used in home and street lighting applications.

The higher ratings SMU will have optional provision of remote data logging & control through GSM / GPRS / LAN / WAN/ USB communication interface which provide a greater degree of monitoring and operational control. These can be used in wide-ranging applications in solar systems such as industrial power plants, rooftop solar banking power, water pumps or simply home and office UPS systems. NavSemi SMU comes with its patented MCPT technology embedded within MPPT engine.
