Production of Bisol roof-integrated photovoltaic modules has risen to 10 percent11. July 2012 | By: Bisol Group, d.o.o.
Bisol Group's roof-integrated PV solution is gaining popularity in the international markets. Production of these PV modules has risen to 10 per cent share of the company’s total production output in the first half of the year.
Bisol Group is one of the leading European manufacturers of premium quality mono- and polycrystalline PV modules. In addition to standard products the company has developed its own innovative roof-integrated modules that substitute conventional roofing. This year their share in production represents 10 per cent already. Increased demand is due to high quality components and the aesthetics of Bisol Group’s solution. As the modules replace roofing, they are a cost-effective solution for renovation or new builds.
Bisol’s integrated system is watertight, but still allows optimal circulation of air. Robust, yet visually appealing modules, provide adequate structural stability and can sustain various rigorous weather conditions. They can endure wind gusts of up to 200 km/h and are resistant to hail stones 25 mm in diameter, which fall perpendicularly at 83 kilometres per hour onto the module. Each panel is approved for short term heavy mechanical loads of 900 kilograms and can endure temperature cycling from –40 °C to +85 °C at 85 % humidity.
Bisol’s roof-integrated solution is a very much sought-after product especially in UK and Italy. Solarcentury Ltd, the UK's most reputable EPC contractor and solar systems provider, has recently signed a contract with Bisol Group to provide 2.5MW of modules for roof-integrated solar power plants. Solacentury has developed some of the most challenging projects, such as The Blackfriars Solar Bridge – the largest in the world, and Wadebridge – Britain’s first solar powered town.
Co-operation with Bisol Group is a long-term partnership for delivering roof-integrated PV modules and systems for its customers, not only in the UK but also abroad. Bisol PV modules come in various designs and can be integrated perfectly into the aesthetics of any home. BISOL Group is renowned for producing extremely functional and visually appealing solar solutions. In addition to producing PV modules with peak powers up to 260 watt, the company comes highly recommended as a producer of premium mounting systems also.
