US based nonprofit group expanding influence to Europe.
The Professional Women in Solar group is a grassroots community, where professional women gather to learn how to truly change the world through solar energy. The group also facilitates the matching of hiring companies with female solar experts.
“While the global photovoltaic demand continues to soar in 2012, dynamics are shifting from a few “mega markets” to a growing class of markets around the world. Coined by analysts as the “global PV market diffusion”, it is paramount that this shift is accompanied by a broader diversity of thinking and new leadership styles,” commented Dr. Isabelle Christensen, Founder of Women in Solar.
