Construction of the project was completed by HB White Canada Corporation. According to Wes Doering, HB White Project Manager “The project provided employment for 112 people onsite during the construction phase. All of these workers were local Eastern Ontario hires.” Along with the construction jobs, additional full time jobs will result to support the operation and maintenance of this and other projects owned by Saturn Power.

The David Brown Solar Park Project is expected to produce 16.8 Gigawatt hours of energy annually, enough to power 1800 households.

“As a privately owned Canadian company, we are proud to have successfully participated in the war on climate change, in a market that has been dominated by large multi-national corporations” proclaimed Douglas Wagner, President of Saturn Power. “This project demonstrates once again Saturn's ability to complete a quality renewable energy facility from greenfield to commercial operation.”
