Lee Shuman has more than 15 years of experience in corporate and project finance and strategic transaction execution in the power generation industry. Much of Lee’s career was at GenOn Energy (formerly known as Mirant and later acquired by NRG Energy), where he participated in numerous domestic and international transactions valued at more than $8 billion that included acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, new project developments, and project financings. Additionally, Lee has experience working with renewable energy companies to evaluate projects and optimize their financial structure.

Lee holds a B.A. from Emory University, an M.B.A. and Masters of Taxation from Georgia State University, and a J.D. from the University of Georgia.
