SolarEdge Technologies announced today that it has received the 2012 Intersolar AWARD for Innovation in the Photovoltaic category. The distinguished award was granted to the SolarEdge next generation power optimizer featuring the new IndOPTM technology which allows broader market adoption of power optimizers. The Intersolar AWARD honors solar companies for innovative ideas and technological breakthroughs.
The SolarEdge next generation power optimizer, empowered with a new independent optimization technology (IndOPTM) is designed utilizing a new set of semiconductor chips, developed by SolarEdge, which allow for a much smaller product with increased reliability, durability and efficiency. Additional benefits include increased safety and module-level PV monitoring.
