Solarflex reports implementation and expansion of research activities

Solarflex reported that recently recruited Dr. V. Rodionov visited a hi-tech plant and R&D center in Odessa, Ukraine, that specializes on thin film technologies for various products and possesses vacuum deposition machines with general characteristics alike and complementary to the machine acquired by Solarflex.

Dr. Rodionov discussed and negotiated with the center's management several alternatives for R&D cooperation and collaboration alongside to the possible future production of photovoltaic cells, including specific developments addressed to different market niches, developments that can lead to commercial agreements with players in the European markets.

The parties agreed to start performing experiments to verify aspects of the technology, and its performances and advantages for the market niches.

"The results achieved by Dr. Rodionov are a very important step towards a deeper understanding of certain aspects to enlarge possible commercial usage of the technology being developed by Solarflex," commented Sergey Rogov, CEO of Solarflex Corp.

During the last several months I invested a considerable amount of time in contacts with potential customers in "Solar Energy Oriented" countries. The effort allowed me to characterize and focus our R&D efforts towards possible commercial implementation, added Mr. Rogov.
