NEW ENERGIES FOR OLD ENERGY
OPET Petrolculuk A.S. (OPET), one of the largest oil companies of Turkey, shows how to combine old and new energies. In the future, monocrystalline solar modules of SolarWorld will supply the main building of the company in Mersin with environmentally friendly solar power.
The Turkish natural gas supplier Bursagaz/Botas also relies on solar. On the roof of a new company building in Bursa, a solar power system produces around 60,000 kilowatt hours of clean electricity per year for direct consumption.
