Using 20 kW PV string inverters (SG20KTL) provided by Sungrow, those plants are located in the south-west of Turkey in the area of Denizliand with 2 MW installation capacity in total.

Sungrow is one of the main solar PV inverter suppliers to Turkey. Since Sungrow inverters are designed for the harshest environmental conditions, they are a perfect fit for hot regions. The SG20KTL was tested to work at full power without any power derating up to an ambient temperature of more than 45°C and ensures highest energy yield even during peak temperature times. The inverters also meet all relevant grid requirements in Turkey and state of the art.

"Sungrow never stop exploring emerging markets across the world with our core competitiveness in PV inverter," said Tobias Krauth, head of Sungrow Germany branch.

"Turkey just began to show its potential of renewable energy development, Sungrow is more than happy to join more PV projects in this market, and was extremely welcomed here as one of the global PV industry experts. The customers even actively got to know our products and application references and in consequence had complete trust on us. Just like what we had done in other overseas countries, Sungrow is full of confidence to provide our clients cost-effective PV products and system solutions to fulfill our target of becoming a leading player of the renewable energy industry."
