During the Enersolar trade show, currently being held in Milan, Italy, director general of SMA Italy, Valerio Natalizia, was chosen as the association’s new president for the next two years. He replaces previous president Gert Gremes, who held the position for four years.

In terms of next year’s outlook, the industry has said overall, it has a very optimistic outlook for next year. The new PV tariffs have been set through the Conto Energia solar support scheme and, although three more tariff reductions are expected within the coming year, it is felt that they will not get in the way of PV growth.
