Construction on the project, located near Vilanueva de Córdova in the province of Andalusia, will reportedly take place over the next few months. It is expected to be completed and connected to the grid by mid-June.
DEGERenergie systems will supply a total of 3,044 single-axis TOPtracker 8.5 systems to the park. The company says that preparations in Vilanueva have been underway since the beginning of February. The first TOPtraker systems are expected to leave its production facilities in Horb, Germany, in mid-March.
