Bosch announces extended warranty

Bosch changes the warranty conditions for its modules worldwide. In case of future warranty claims, Bosch will replace the module with a correctly working model of the same type or possibly eliminate the fault. Alternatively, lost earnings will be compensated.

Bosch will provide an alternative in the event that the module type is no longer produced. Proof of the loss of earnings in the form of a measurement report by an accredited expert or an institution is also no longer needed. The clause stating that the customer must bear the costs of transport and installation has been dropped.

The improved warranty conditions also apply to Bosch Solar Energy modules, which were delivered before July 2011. In doing so, the company provides its customers with a five or ten-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty.
