Sino-U.S. PV trade dispute moves forward

U.S.: The trade dispute launched at the behest of the Coalition of American Solar Panel Manufacturers against Chinese silicon PV manufacturers has rolled on with a hearing by the International Trade Commission (ITC).

The ITC and the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) are the two U.S. government agencies investigating the alleged dumping and unfair subsidies by Chinese manufacturers of solar panels in the U.S. The ITC held a hearing on the matter on November 8.
