France: 541 MW of solar projects approved

Two RFTs or Request for Tenders were also announced, which included 21 MW of concentrated solar power plants (CSP). The government has selected 109 projects under the first RFT for 100 to 250 kW rooftop projects totaling 21 MW. Under the second RFT, 105 photovoltaic, CSP and concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) projects larger than 250 kW were selected, amounting to 520 MW in total.

According to the ministry, these two tenders will generate a cumulative investment of nearly one billion euros. Batho will be announcing details of the next solar tender on September 13.
