Newly installed photovoltaic capacity for October is 611.856 MW. A little over 19,000 new plants were registered throughout the month. According to the agency, in the first ten months of the year, a total photovoltaic capacity of about 6.83 GW has been installed in Germany.
From the beginning of October, there were no more subventions for photovoltaic power plants larger than 10 MW. The transition period ended as of September 30. This fact is reflected in the data provided by the agency, which shows that only four photovoltaic parks with capacities over 10 MW located in Neuhardenberg were registered in October.
From the beginning of the current year to July 31, a total of 4.9 GW in new photovoltaic installations have been recorded.
The feed-in tariffs in December are 0.1745/kWh for systems up to 10 kW. Meanwhile, rooftop systems up to 40 kW will receive 0.1656/kWh; and systems between 40 and 1,000 kW 0.1477/kWh. All bigger rooftop systems and solar parks up to 10MW capacity will receive a FIT of 0.1208/kWh.
In January, subsidies will sink another 2.5%. The degression for the months February to April will be released by the agency by the end of January next year, at the latest.
