California's Silevo Inc. a solar cell and PV module manufacturer has teamed up with solar distributor Krannich Solar to ship the Silevo Triex high performance, high efficiency solar modules throughout Europe and the U.S.
The Silevo Triex module boasts an efficiency of 18.5% and a temperature coefficient of -0.27%/°C, making it an ideal module for solar arrays installed in challenging climates. The high efficiency is an improvement on the typical 14.5% efficiencies normal for conventional crystalline silicon c-Si modules, and its additional output power lowers balance of system (BOS) costs, significantly reducing the overall cost of the solar system.
Krannich Solar will be the chief distribution partner for the modules, utilizing its established channels in Europe and the U.S. to bring wholesale volumes to the markets.
