Spanish PV distributor Proinso has launched sales of ZeverSolar inverters in India.
Proinso, which signed a distribution deal with the SMA-owned Chinese inverter maker in July, has also introduced a new power purchase agreement (PPA) model in India. The company is offering a new funding program for projects bigger than 100 kW. Proinso said the program will be flexible and include "Build Own Operate" and "Build Own Transfer" finance models, allowing customers to have "the highest quality equipment and optimized systems without the CAPEX hurdle."
Kunal Chandra, head of Proinso India, said the Indian market was "responding very positively to the value proposition that Zeversolar offers." Prosinso recently closed another 200 kW deal in western India to supply a Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) project.
"It is under this policy that we see the most demand with the cost and quality offering," Chandra added.
The company's first project to employ ZeverSolar string inverters was a rooftop system near Mumbai. The 50 kW installation uses Jinko 250 Wp modules and Zeversolar Eversol TLC20K inverters.
The installation also has remote monitoring features that make it possible to view and measure the performance of the system online with ZeverSolars free SolarCloud portal.
