Proinso launches EPM program in Southeast Asia

U.K.-based PV distributor Proinso has launched a new engineering, procurement and management (EPM) service program across Southeast Asia.

It's the latest step in the company's efforts to expand operations in the region and follows its the supply of 5 MW in solar PV products for an installation in the Philippine capital of Manila that included SMA Tripower inverters. That deal kicked off Proinso's sales in the burgeoning market. The company says the development is further evidence of its increasing mandate in the ground-mounted and roof-top market in Southeast Asia.

Proinso's new EPM program, backed by the Asia Pacific Program Management Office in Brisbane, Australia, offers technical support, project management services, system monitoring and asset management services. As part of the offering, Proinso has already completed roof-top and ground-mounted projects in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

The group will present its EPM program at this year's Cities of the Future show, part of the Great British Festival, which runs Feb. 27-March 1 in Manila. The event is organized by the British Embassy.
