Solar incentives overview

Feed-in tariffs: Many changes to incentive schemes have taken place across the globe since pv magazine ’s last update nine months ago. In response, this section has been renamed to better reflect the shift away from the feed-in tariff model toward the breadth of financing schemes now available.

AustraliaSince the last update, Australia has carved ever greater political inroads into its solar industry. ActewAGL in ACT slashed its solar payments almost in half to AU$0.0395/kWh.Queensland also saw a steep reduction in average prices to AU$0.06348/kWh, which are likely to fall further in 2016.Payments in Victoria also plunged to a new low of AU$0.05/kWh.Only …
