PV cell producers are taking a second look at visual inspection equipment. According to some key suppliers, an uptick in the application of automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment in cell production is underway. These suppliers, including Germany’s Vitronic, ISRA Vision/GP Solar, and greateyes all report surging orders for AOI tooling for cell production in 2016. …
