Energy storage on the rise: New videos from pv magazine LIVE

Share

There is a lot going on in the solar industry these days, and it can be hard to capture all of it. Today we bring you more videos from the Solar Power International 2016 trade show, as part of our pv magazine LIVE video offering, with a special focus on energy storage.

Grid-connected energy storage is not only a growing market in its own right, but an essential part of the transformation of distributed solar into solar-plus; the integration of solar PV into a building energy generation and management ecosystems.

As part of our exploration of energy storage, we bring you an interview with global distributed storage market leader Sonnen’s Global Head of Sales Phillip Schröder.

We also spoke with microinverter maker Enphase’s Director of Product Management Ilen Zazueta-Hall about the company’s AC Battery product, for which the company has begun taking U.S. orders.

Finally, we bring you an interview with Ideal Power CEO Dan Brdar, who talks about his company’s unique and innately bi-directional power topology, which is making inroads into the energy storage market.
