Singulus receives new order for CIGS production equipment

Singulus will provide an unnamed customer in China with with machinery for the manufacturing of CIGS solar modules. The order signed is for its VISTARIS vacuum sputtering systems, as well as the TENUIS II system for wet chemical buffer layer deposition.

In a company press release, Singulus stated that outstanding payment is expected soon, although the order is still subject to the approval of the relevant boards.

A Singulus spokesperson told pv magazine that the order, worth more than €20 million, comes from an existing customer. They also confirmed, however, that it did not come from a China National Building Materials subsidiary, two of which ordered €110 million worth of equipment from Singulus last year.
