Same floorspace, increased throughput

Module assembly: The PV production equipment market is fiercely competitive. In the module assembly space, some observe that Chinese providers are consuming ever-larger market share. However, with the number of countries in which solar manufacturing is carried out increasing, and the need for higher output essential for competitiveness, opportunities do exist for innovative suppliers.

In December 2015, Indian module manufacturer Emmvee signed a deal to purchase two Kubus MTS 5000 Stringers, from Germany’s M10 Industries. The deal was no small achievement for the German equipment supplier, given that M10 had released its new Kubus MTS 5000 stringer platform and entered the solar production technology marketplace less than 12 months earlier.Emmvee reports that …
