Tracker Development Solutions that increase reliability and reduce O&M costs

As operational lifetimes continue to stretch further, the lowest possible BoS and Levelized Cost of Electricity aren’t just about initial installation costs, but ongoing operation and maintenance. Trackers offer yield improvements of up to 20% depending on location, at the cost of adding complexity and moving parts. So, let’s peek behind the curtain to understand how years of operational experience and R&D result in better and better solutions designed for always unique terrain and wind conditions.

In this pv magazine Webinar, with our initiative partner TrinaTracker, join us to discover more about how solar tracking technology improves through every generation of products: from optimizations of software to lower failure rates, how R&D and quality control improvements work to reduce costs and downtime, and how plants are designed right from the initial phase to deliver a full life cycle. Also on the webinar agenda, an independent expert looks holistically at understanding industry best preventative maintenance approaches that lead to effective operational performance.

Our speakers start with Andrew Gilhooly, TrinaTracker Head of Utility Solution Sales in APAC, who will discuss how smart system controlling algorithms are optimizing yields and reliability, and  TrinaTracker’s real-time SCADA monitoring system, a new product to be launched within the coming weeks. Joining the webinar, is Álvaro Gallegos, Head of Operations at TrinaTracker, with 20 years of experience, will speak about his experience lowering failure rates and increasing lifetime availability with O&M considerations, tips, and guidance.

Also presenting is Félix Sabando, Research and Development Senior Manager at TrinaTracker, who will discuss the hands-on engineering taking place that lead to design improvements, reduce cost, and improve quality controls, to find the lowest possible failure rates for components. Joining as an independent party, Steve Caldwell, Senior Project Manager at Enzen Australia, will share his insights from his consulting and advisory experience in solar projects.
