Delivering value in the APAC region

With energy crises erupting through the Asia Pacific in the last year, the risk of the region’s ongoing dependence on fossil fuels has supercharged interest in renewable systems and projects. Be that as it may, developers and installers today have also stared down the barrel of some of the lowest midday wholesale electricity prices yet seen.

Getting the most out of a system, then, becomes imperative for households and solar farms alike. Having recently launched the second generation of its Vertex S modules, with up to 430W for rooftops, and 580W for large C&I projects, Trina Solar’s Vertex range features 210mm rectangular silicon (G12R) wafers, resulting in higher efficiency and power by as much as to 30W for each module.

For periods of overcast weather and highly diffuse irradiance as well as uneven terrain, trackers are another crucial means of delivering value in APAC regions. Showcasing its new smart control system, SuperTrack, and Vanguard 1P tracker at the Intersolar conference in May, TrinaTracker’s newest range boasts energy production increases of up to 3% to 8% compared with conventional algorithms. Case studies from its recent projects in India and Malaysia will examine more precisely cost benefit of tracking systems versus fixed tilt systems and its role in creating better project outcomes.

Trina Solar will also be offering a sneak preview of the new technologies on its horizon and products launching later in the year.

Join this pv magazine Webinar to learn more about how to make ideal technology choices for projects across the Asia Pacific, with detailed, technical presentations from Andrew Gilhooly, head of C&I and utility solutions at Trina Solar Asia-Pacific and Lim Cheong Boon, its head of product and marketing.
