SMA unveils high voltage Tesla storage system

German solar inverter giant SMA has unveiled its new Sunny Boy Storage 2.5 inverter, which can be coupled with Tesla’s PowerWall. SMA says that its AC coupled unit cuts Sunny Boy storage power electronic costs by half.

1.28 GW of new solar installs in Germany over 12 months

Germany saw 1.28 GW of solar PV become operational in the 12 months from December 1, 2014, to November 30, 2015, according to official figures. Due to the low installation rate, FITs for January to March will not change.

EU Commission: solar dumping duties and minimum price to remain

95.5 MW of PV capacity for June in Germany
