The Australian government has presented its 2023-2024 budget, with AUD 2 billion ($1.35 billion) to be invested in hydrogen, while Austria, Germany, and Italy said they have started moving forward on a southern hydrogen corridor from North Africa to Northern Europe.

Serbia seeking partner for 1 GW of solar, 200 MW battery storage

The Serbian government is seeking a strategic partner to develop at least five PV plants with a cumulative capacity of 1 GW/1.2 GWh and at least 200 MW/400 MWh of battery energy storage. State power company Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) will own and operate the assets.

Edify Energy switches on 150 MW/300 MW of battery storage in Australia

Construction has been completed on what is now the largest battery system in the Australian state of New South Wales. The 150 MW/300 MWh Riverina and Darlington Point energy storage systems are made up of three co-located units, owned by Federation Asset Management and Edify Energy.

Hyme Energy has awarded Semco Maritime an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for services for the 1.6 MWh Molten Salts Storage (MOSS) Project in Esbjerg, Denmark.
