China has started a massive open tender of utility-scale solar power projects after a smaller tender last year, in an effort, analysts said, to help Beijing set on-grid power prices for such projects, reports Reuters.

Fidelis Energy Inc. has entered into a long-term agreement with Lagofrio Energy Solutions (LES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tinsol Energy (pty) Ltd. (TSEL), which will see the company supplying 93 megawatts (MW) of photovolatic solar modules to TSEL for use in the development and build-out of several solar parks in Africa.
