Dr. Michael Scott brings over 24 years of experience in photovoltaics, spanning academic research to high-volume manufacturing.

Before joining Intertek CEA, he held several highly technical engineering and leadership positions at SunPower and SolarWorld. His expertise extends beyond conventional crystalline silicon (c-Si) manufacturing; Dr. Scott delved into third-generation thin-film PV technologies during his graduate studies and professional research.

His academic journey culminated in a PhD in Chemistry, where his research focused on charge separation and transport within photovoltaic devices. Dr. Scott’s contributions have undoubtedly shaped the solar industry.
