Mintu Roy leads sales and business development across the United States and Europe
for Waaree Solar Americas, the U.S. division of Waaree Energies – India’s largest solar PV module manufacturer, with more than 28 GW of global manufacturing capacity. He helps drive the commercial growth of Waaree Solar Americas’ U.S. manufacturing operations in Brookshire, Texas, and its expansion into Goodyear, Arizona.

Across the Utility-Scale, Commercial & Industrial, and Residential solar markets, Mintu works with developers, independent power producers, EPCs, distributors and other strategic partners. He oversees sales strategy, key-account development, techno- commercial negotiations, competitive bids and long-term supply agreements spanning photovoltaic modules and Waaree’s expanding portfolio of inverters, transformers and battery energy storage systems. Drawing on his experience in project management, business analytics and commercial strategy, Mintu helps customers navigate product selection, supply-chain strategy, project risk and long-term project economics.

His areas of expertise include U.S. solar manufacturing, global supply chains, strategic procurement, utility-scale project development, channel expansion and the integration of solar modules, inverters, transformers and energy storage. Mintu holds an MBA in Business Analytics from the University of North Texas, a Post Graduate Executive Management Program credential from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, and a B. Tech in Instrumentation from GIET.
