Monishka is a physicist and has researched on optimisation of organic and hybrid solar cells and design of dye sensitised solar cells. She has worked as a program coordinator for energy networks in Australia where she led innovation and asset management projects. She has worked in remote communities in Indonesia and Fiji on food, water and energy security issues. Based in Melbourne, Monishka is an active member of the Melbourne Young Energy Professionals.
