Nadiya Vargola is a Head of BESS Business Development at Alpiq, where she leads the strategic expansion of large-scale energy storage projects across key European markets. With over 17 years of experience in the energy and financial sectors, she brings deep expertise in M&A, strategy execution, and business development in RES and energy storage.

Under her leadership, Alpiq’s BESS portfolio has grown substantially through acquired and secured projects. Nadiya is recognised for building strong cross-functional partnerships and successfully navigating complex international transactions in a rapidly evolving energy market.

Nadiya holds an MBA from Purdue University and has completed executive education at INSEAD.
