Dr. Peer Günzel has been a member of the Management Board of DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing GmbH & Co. KG (DAL) since January 2024.Effective January 1, 2024, Dr. Peer Günzel has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing GmbH & Co. KG (DAL). In this role, he will assume responsibility for the new Infrastructure & Utilities department. In this role, he is responsible for the Infrastructure & Utilities business. There, DAL consolidates its asset expertise in renewable energies, such as the implementation of solar and wind farms and related investments, e.g., in charging infrastructure, grid expansion, or storage solutions as well as corporate energy supply offerings. Dr. Peer Günzel has held various management positions within the Deutsche Leasing Group for nine years, most recently as Chief Representative and Head of Sales for the Infrastructure & Utilities segment.

Dr. Günzel began his professional career at Stadtsparkasse Hannover with an apprenticeship as a savings bank clerk. After positions in risk management and sales at Commerzbank AG, IKB, and HSH Nordbank as Head of Origination Solar Energy Europe, Dr. Günzel moved into industry. From 2009 to 2012, he worked at First Solar, most recently as Managing Director of the Utility Systems Business Group EMEA, and from 2012 to 2014, he served as CFO of Solarparc in Bonn. Dr. Günzel joined the Deutsche Leasing Group in 2014 as Head of Risk Structured Finance.

Dr. Günzel received his doctorate from the University of Lüneburg and previously successfully completed business administration studies at the Universities of Regensburg and Lüneburg, graduating with a degree in business administration.
