Aide Solar obtained JET certification

Aide Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd announced on Aug. 13, 2012 that it received certification from the Japan Electrical Safety & Environment Technology Laboratories (JET) among few foreign companies. Aide Solar was also recognized for having a zero defect factory and achieving the highest efficiency for modules up to 325 watts of power.
The recognition from JET opens the door for Aide Solar to enter the solar market in Japan. Starting from July 1, 2012, the Japanese government implemented a new FIT policy, offering FIT rate at 42 yen/kWh, much higher than the FIT rates applied in Italy, Germany and several other countries.
The new FIT policy has attracted worldwide module manufacturers to focus on penetrating the Japanese market which is only open to those companies with JET certification JET is an officially recognized laboratory in Japan, responsible for performing factory inspection, audits, and product testing for electronic products. Acquiring the JET certification is viewed as achieving the most stringent standard since Japanese consumers put higher standards on the quality and safety of electronic products.
Aide Solar was also awarded JPEC certification from the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association, validating our module for rooftop solar energy system in Japan. Obtaining both JET and JPEC certifications proves that Aide Solar modules meet the highest standard of quality and safety in the market.
