Ashalim 35 MWp PV plant inaugurated with STI Norland´s solar tracker STI-H1250

EPC company Belectric Israel has built the PV plant, a joint development of EDF IN Israel Ltd. and Clal Sun Ltd., where STI-H1250 horizontal axis tracker was chosen as the most suitable solution for the project.

 

STI Norland has supplied 144 units of its horizontal single axis trackers, its easy and fast installation as well as its adaptability to desert areas makes the STI-H1250 tracker the best solution for this kind of projects, allowing our customers to reduce the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).

 

Ashalim is the 7th solar project in the country for STI Norland, which will continue to be a market leader for solar trackers and fixed structures in the country with more than 110 MW installed since its entry into the Israeli market in 2013.

 

Israel aims by 2020 to reach 20% of its energy produced from renewable sources, with solar energy as one of its main assets. In addition, 1.3GW in solar tenders are expected from now to 2021.
