Bisol Group’s production fully operational again

At the beginning of this week Bisol Group’s production became fully operational again. In order to swiftly eliminate effects of the damage due to the flooded warehouse all employees were involved in the clean-up process, preparing space for newly manufactured products.

Last week water flooded Bisol Group’s warehouse, where the company stores finished products and raw materials. The first guesstimate of damage is around 2 million euros, not including interruption of production and loss of income. As Bisol Group’s production facility is on higher ground level it was unaffected by the flood.
Throughout the whole of last week all employees were involved in cleaning the warehouse, workshops and other areas affected by the floods. At the weekend, determined Bisol workers carried out a labour solidarity campaign to clean the warehouse as soon as possible and prepare everything for restarting production.
The company’s production started its operation at the beginning of this week. Production is expected to begin operating four shifts to quickly make up for the loss in production and fulfil customers’ orders. In addition to eliminating the aftermath of the flood Bisol Group is also carrying out inventory control of damaged goods and calculating reimbursement of flood damage generally.
