Mr. Cedric Jaeg, the general manager of the project developer Aibishi Energy greeted distinguished representatives from Tainan city government, French office in Taipei and the state-owned electric utility Taiwan Power Company, as well as the chairman of French solution provider Ciel&Terre Taiwan, Mr. Philippe Deschamps.
Tree Valley Park is building floating solar power station in its two detention basins, Valley of Trees and Valley of The Wind. These two solar facilities which will generate 5.3 MWp capacity after construction, becomes the biggest floating solar power plant in Tainan.
Mr. Philippe Deschamps mentioned that the floating solar solution Hydrelio developed by Ciel et Terre is very suitable for small populated countries like Taiwan. The company has connected 90 power stations to the grid so far since it launched the innovative floating system in market.
Over the past 6 years, it had already completed some very successful projects in Japan which should hold up in the face of the worst that Japan's weather can offer. Thus, technical team's know-how enable floating solar system to withstand typhoons in Taiwan.
