Crider Americas Solar completes multi-story parking deck solar canopies

Crider Americas Solar recently successfully designed, engineered, manufactured, and installed three solar canopies (279 kW) on a multi-level parking deck in Los Angeles, California.

The canopies featured a 33′ Double Stall Webbed Truss. The three arrays covered 138 parking spaces. Two arrays measured 32’6″ x 252′ with (9) 28′ bays, where each bay consisted of (6) parking spaces for a total of 54 parking spaces per canopy. One array measured 32’6″ x 140′ with (5) 28′ bays, where each bay consisted of (6) parking spaces for a total of 30 parking spaces.
All structures were hot dipped galvanized before they were field painted. Permits for this project were pulled in mid-September and canopy work was complete in early November.
