EIPF leads change of ownership of ASI Torchiarolo FV

The majority quota of the SPV stated capital was transferred by Silver Ridge Power Italia S.r.l. in favor of Cubico Sustainable Investments, a British company recently acquired by the Public Sector Pension Investment Board and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, both Canadian entities linked to pension funds.

The ASI Torchiarolo deal was closed in the context of a wider transaction which led Cubico to acquire a PV portfolio in Italy for an overall power capacity up to 105.6MW.

The legal team was led by Stefano Maria Zappalà, together with the associate Maria Juan, assisting UniCredit and UBI Banca in all aspects related to the  project finance facility borrowed by the ASI Torchiarolo project company.
