ExelGroup becomes full member of PV CYCLE

ExelGroup, which manufactures high quality Greek photovoltaic modules, guarantees via its PV CYCLE membership the appropriate treatment of its end-of-life modules in Europe. As of now, owners of ExelGroup PV modules can dispose of their modules at one of the more than 270 PV CYCLE collection points throughout Europe – at no additional cost. After collection, the panels will be further treated at the partner recycling centers of PV CYCLE. PV CYCLE was founded in 2007 as a non-for-profit association with the goal to execute the PV industry’s voluntary commitment to extended producer responsibility and sustainable life cycle management.

PV CYCLE is an independent organization representing approximately 90% of the European PV market, and collects and recycles the discarded PV modules of the PV module producers affiliated to the organization. All services are free-of-charge for the module owner and are entirely funded by the companies participating in the program.

CEO of ExelGroup, Mr. Stavros Triantafillou, stated: "ExelGroup, demonstrating in practice its sensitivity towards the environment, actively participates in the collection and recycling program of PV CYCLE. Solar power is the clearest answer against climate change, and therefore, even after the end of their life, photovoltaic panels must work in favour of the environment."
