Hanwha Q Cells strengthens its business in France
Additionally the company has opened a 5.000 m2 warehouse in the country, located in Lyon. Both steps have been taken in reply to growing demand for products, solutions and services of the renowned Q Cells brand in France, mainly in the residential; commercial and industrial market segments.
With a subsidiary as well as the centrally located warehouse in France, Hanwha Q Cells will even more be able to flexibly serve customers in France through its growing installer network, which is today covering the whole of France and counts more than 50 certified installer partners of Hanwha Q Cells.

After the opening of its first office and strengthening the team in France in 2014, Hanwha Q Cells further underlines the importance of France for its PV business in the European Union by founding the subsidiary company and opening the new warehouse in 2015. Hanwha Q Cells SAS is now providing all services from sales, to order management, to logistics, to customer and after sales service to its customers in France.
Centrally located warehouse for efficient and fast delivery
Close to Lyon the new warehouse of Hanwha Q Cells SAS is ideally located to serve the strong PV regions in the sunny south of France and the rest of the country equally fast and reliably. The warehouse covers 5.000 m2, provides storage for more than 15 MW of PV modules and kit components and has potential for increasing its capacity in the future.
Growing demand and positive business outlook
France continuously is one of the top-three PV markets in the EU for Hanwha Q Cells with potential for further growth in the coming years. “We have strong confidence to gain additional market shares in France going forward,” said Philippe Pflieger. “French customers value leading performance and quality and expect excellent service.
