Heraeus exhibits new products at PV Taiwan 2013
The Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit is exhibiting at this year’s PV Taiwan 2013 photovoltaic exhibition from October 30th – November 1st in Taipei, Taiwan. During the tradeshow, Heraeus will feature their line of metallization pastes for conventional and advanced solar cell designs.
Jason Lu, the Deputy General Manager for Heraeus Materials Technology Taiwan Ltd., states “The production and market share of solar cell production in Taiwan is growing and Heraeus has been successfully growing with the Taiwan market. Heraeus Materials Technology Taiwan Ltd. is a local company that focuses on the needs of our customers in Taiwan. Customer service is the key attribute we provide locally, but we have the global resources and diversity of Heraeus to provide the research and development and product development needed to supply this local market with the products it requires today and in the future. The PV Taiwan 2013 Exhibition gives us the opportunity to meet with our customers to discuss their needs and thank them for allowing us to work with them.”
Heraeus will be highlighting their newest line of metallization pastes at this year’s show. The SOL203T, new and customized for this market, is a back-side tabbing paste, exhibiting 15% less paste and 25% less silver usage per cell while maintaining excellent adhesion as compared to competitive products. The improved performance exhibited in Heraeus’ SOL9610M paste for the front-side of solar cells has continued to gain strong market acceptance. For n-type cells, Heraeus has demonstrated a 1% improvement in efficiency over their previous generation of pastes with the combination of SOL9350 and SOL9610 Series for the p+ and n+ wafer surfaces respectively.
