Infrastrutture S.p.A. begins construction of innovative solar photovoltaic plant in Japan

Hergo Japan G.K., a subsidiary of Infrastrutture Group, selected by Mega Solar Power Committee of Kumagaya Municipality, Saitama Prefecture, begins the construction of 3,5 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Japan.

“We are very pleased to have begun work our second highly innovative project in Japan. Our continuous innovation in renewable energy technology will provide another example of excellence in clean energy generation, underscoring how sustainability and innovation must go hand in hand.
As the site is part of a complex flood control system that could be filled with rain water in case of exceptional weather conditions, the innovative PV panel mounting structures –as well as all electrical components – are elevated above the ground by 2-3 meters depending on the area.
The plant will enter in to operation in March 2017.” – commented Pier Francesco Rimbotti – CEO of Infrastrutture S.p.A.
