Recognized as a widely referenced benchmark for assessing the bankability and market credibility of energy storage manufacturers, the BNEF Tier 1 ranking reflects JDEnergy’s continued progress in technology development, product reliability and global project delivery.

String architecture addresses evolving storage market requirements

As a pioneer in the string-based energy storage approach, JDEnergy has successfully applied distributed storage cabinets in hundreds-of-megawatt-hour grid-side energy storage projects, demonstrating the scalability of its technology for large-scale applications.

Based on the design concepts of “4S integration” and AC/DC integrated architecture, JDEnergy has developed a product portfolio tailored for overseas markets. The eBlock-250 is designed for C&I energy storage applications, supporting the energy needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. The eBlock-100C targets PV-storage-charging scenarios, helping users increase renewable energy self-consumption. The eBlock-418A is designed for grid-side energy storage applications, supporting large-scale storage plants and grid-level regulation requirements. The Galaxy Series covers both grid-side and user-side applications, featuring large-scale containerized designs for flexible deployment across multiple scenarios.

Global deployments demonstrate market adaptability

JDEnergy has expanded its overseas deployments across Europe and Asia-Pacific, covering multiple storage applications. In Hungary, the systems support grid stability and enable greater integration of renewable energy into the power system. In Germany, deployments provide an energy foundation for energy-intensive industrial users, helping optimize energy consumption and reduce electricity costs. In the Netherlands, the solutions have been integrated with local smart energy management platforms to support more refined operation and energy optimization. In Japan, the first energy storage project marked JDEnergy’s entry into a market with stringent technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Localized services support continued overseas growth

Alongside project deployment, JDEnergy has continued to develop localized service capabilities in overseas markets, covering sales support, installation and commissioning, operational guidance and after-sales services. It also provides product and technical training programs to support local partners.

Supported by its localized service capabilities, JDEnergy has continued to expand its overseas customer base and secure new project opportunities. In the first half of 2026, the company signed strategic cooperation agreements with customers in Pakistan, Germany and Hungary, including energy storage framework agreements totaling 200 MWh, 300 MWh and 400 MWh, respectively. These agreements represent only part of JDEnergy’s growing international project pipeline, with additional projects progressing across different regions worldwide.

The continued recognition from BNEF comes as global energy storage markets enter a new phase of accelerated deployment, where supplier reliability, long-term performance and project bankability are becoming increasingly important factors for developers and investors. For JDEnergy, six consecutive quarters of Tier 1 recognition represents a foundation for deeper collaboration with global partners and further expansion across international storage markets.
