Jolywood Solar: Moving upwards of TOPCon technology industrialization
As could be seen that the mainstream technology in the short term were still PERC, and the products on display were 182mm and 210mm modules which can deliver conversion efficiency over 24.5%. It is estimated that the next generation of technology market will dominated by TOPCon and HJT, which depend on the cells efficiency of mass production, LCOE control and market share.
Jolywood Solar launched its Niwa Max in June, 2021 with 210mm large wafer cells. Based on J-TOPCon 2.0 cell technology, which features an n-type TOPCon structure, the Niwa Max can deliver a power output of 700W. In September the same year, Jolywood demonstrated the 182mm cells based on J-TOPCon 2.0 POPAID technology, which has a laboratory conversion efficiency as high as 25.4%. This record has passed the third-party testing certification of China National Institute of Metrology and became the highest efficiency of large wafer NTOPCon cells in the industry.
Lu Junyu, product manager of Jolywood Solar, shared that, “TOPCon bifacial module is suitable for hot and humid area with its high power, high bificality, low coefficient of temperature, low year degradation, and a great performance under light/electric& thermal conditions. With the criterion of LCOE, TOPCon cell stand out by its domestic equipment and low cost of investment.
Jolywood will continue to promote the target of “Carbon Neutrality, Emission Peak” through provide high quality product and service to customer.
